Blue Amps How many amps generated by a 9v battery?
Don't give me a bullshit answer, i want straight and forward; If i wanted the long answer I would have done it myself, the thing is I'm not anywhere near my elx stuff so I need help asap
I have an energizer 9volt battery, it will be powering two blue 1.7v LEDs
I need to know so i know which resistor to use
So how many miliamps?
If you put the two LEDs in series they will drop 3.4 volts, limit the current to 15 milliamps or less. So the resistor should be 5.6 volts/,015 amps or 373 ohms but that is not a standard value, use a 390 ohms 1/4 watt 5% resistor. Expect the battery to last about 24 hours.
