Well there are two main pull factors, and probably two push factors as well.
The main pull factor is the presence of the Canadian Maple Syrup company (many people like maple syrup) as it provides the country with many jobs as it is Canada's main economical stronghold.
The second main pull factor is the accent, many people enjoy this accent and find it kinky and/or find Canadians more attractive than other people purely because of their accent (even if they are a monger).
The first push factor is the presence of french-speakers in Canada, as is universally known the whole world, apart from belgium, hates france and everyone who speaks its disgusting language.
The second push factor is the concept of all Canadian's heads being split in two (as is publicised on the well-known comedy, South Park) this scares people substantially and drives many americans to insanity knowing that people who live on their continent are retarded.
