Tube Amp Comparing the output of a tube amp to a solid state amp.?
A tube amp sounds louder then a solid state even though the amp is producing the same amount of gain (amplification). How would I compare the loudness of a tube amp to a solid state amp?
You would need some way of measuring the decibel levels.
