Could this be a male type of cancer?
My husband (61 yrs. old) has a pain in both nipples since our daughter squizzed them while playing with him. They have become a little hard and painful at touch. No redness can be seen around them. The event occured about six months ago and the pain persists. Could this be cancer?
Doesn't seem like this being a cancer- male breast cancer is rare no doubt, but CAN be seen in reasonable frequencies. But in this case, the clinical picture of a 6 month-long pain in nipple without any other changes (Including a tumor) is very unlikely to be a malignancy.
But still I would suggest you see a surgeon (Preferably onco-surgeon) urgently to exclude the presence of a lump or Paget's disease (an eczema-like condition of nipple in a hidden cancer)>>
