Harman Kardon How to fix my Harman Kardon Avr 40 receiver?
Every time I turn on the receiver it automatically turns off. I did this twice and i heard a pop in then back of the receiver and some smoke came out. I think it might be a fuze. But if anybody knows any other solution please answer.
If you saw smoke then its more then just a fuse you need to take it in to a repair shop for service or consider replacing it. The power supply or amp is probably burnt out. It turning off was its way of protecting it but the pop and smoke means its something that you cant fix yourself.
