To sum it up...
You're at 512MB of RAM... up to 1GB minimum
You're running integrated graphics.... you shouldn't do that.
Basically, 1GB of RAM is minimal for most games today and integrated graphics are only meant to be used for "average" pc users that use computers for just e-mail, word processing, internet, and videos online, such as youtube.
For somebody like you, a video card is better suited. If possible, get a PCI or AGP video... depending on what your computer can support (you have to open up the case). If you have all white slots then it's only PCI, if it's all white but one that is somewhat brown then it's AGP, which is better.
