Laser Head
Recently had laser eye surgery and have just returned to work?
My first day back at work after having laser eye surgery (5 days ago) and have had a lot of head aches. Anyone else experienced this? any suggestions? Is this normal?
The surgery wasn't painfull, but it was uncomfortable. It's not an enjoyable experience, but it was over quite quickly. On the day, plan to get home as quickly as possible, I had to get around london tube station and then home, which wasn't the best!
Yea. I had Lasik last year. You're getting headaches because your brain has to adjust to the vision change you have just experienced. Your vision is fluctuating quite a bit until it's fully healed. So, yea headaches are normal.
Functional laser pointer with 42 style heads at a great price. Use it for presentations. Fun play for kids, & pets.

It throws a red point a loong way (we've thrown it two city blocks at night, and it would've gone farther, but buildings got in the way)...

Well, the reason lies in the anatomy of the skin. The skin has two layers – a thin upper layer called the epidermis, and a thicker, lower layer called the dermis. Scattered in the dermis are fine protein filaments called elastin that, like a piece of rubber band, are capable of stretching on being pulled. But just as a rubber band can stretch only so far and no further, these elastin fibres can also be stretched only to a certain extent. If stretched further, they snap.
Preventing stretch marks is a hot topic for women, men, teenagers, even athletes and body builders. These people are all prone to stretch marks. Stretch marks affect up to 70 percent of teenage girls and up to 90 percent of pregnant women. This article will discuss why stretch marks occur and simple effective methods for preventing stretch marks, including a possible stretch mark solution for preventing stretch marks.
Stretch marks affect anyone. Stretch marks vary in appearance from a slight pink colour to purple and silvery white. The different stretch mark colourations reflect the varying ages of the stretch marks. Stretch marks occur virtually anywhere on the body including the face, neck, head, shoulders, under and upper arms, legs, abdomen, breasts, etc. The potential for stretch marks on the body is huge.
Although stretch marks may fade over time, they usually do not completely go away without the help of an effective stretch mark cream treatment or expensive dermatologist-administered treatments such as agressive laser therapy of aggressive microdermabrasion treatment.
Stretch marks are very difficult to live with and potent stretch mark treatments are even harder to find. I don't want to ask you if you are sick and tired of seeing stretch marks covering your lower back and ribcage. I know you are. People usually want to know how to get rid of stretch marks due to the fact that they carry with them a public stigma.
There is now an alternative to using costly stretch mark removal laser surgery. You can now get rid of those ugly, unsightly stretch marks that have been plaguing your body with a proven stretch mark cream that truly is an alternative stretch mark cure to laser surgery. Test results show that people who use a proven stretch mark cream have seen significant improvements at reducing existing stretch marks and are even able to prevent stretch marks from appearing.
Procedures like dermabrasion, laser treatment, and abdominaplasty do not come with a hundred-percent guarantee. Dermabrasion is simply a more complex form of exfoliation. Laser treatment, on the other hand, does not have a proven track record.
For most women, the problem occurs in the abdomen and breasts and hips. This doesn't mean you will not find stretch marks in other parts of the body. In general, stretch marks will occur in areas where fat content is more; these parts include the breasts, thighs, abdomen, hips, buttocks, etc. The most surprising news to many is that even men develop this problem.
