Does Simon Cowell plan to replace American Idol with The X Factor in the States?
It happened here in Britain, with X Factor taking over Pop Idol, so I don't know why Fox are talking of keeping both shows over there. Without Simon Cowell American Idol is doomed, i'm telling you. It's just another version, revamped to look like something new altogether to ensure those big bucks keep rolling in. Idol and the mighty X are the same thing 
Do you reckon both will carry on or one will reign over the other?
X factor is going to be much bigger over there due to age range and groups applying can you imagine them turning up in millions so would imagine idol may go as there will be no time for both. Ihad a feeling tis would happen eventual and idol may have had its day now

This year Barbara Walters promises this years line up of the 10 most fascinating celebrities will be a must see event. Unlike previous years where she interviewed people she already knew or was familiar with, this year most of the guest she has never heard of. On the list one of guest will be making their second consecutive interview with Walters while another guest name has not been released yet and is set up to be a surprise when the show airs on Dec, 9 at 10pm on ABC
Here are a few of the celebrities that will be featured this year.

Adam Lambert – If you missed it the former American Idol runner up was the guy that put on a very affectionate performance at this years American Music Awards show that outraged many parents at home watching the show with their kids.

Jenny Sanford – She is the soon to be former wife of South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford who used his state budget to fund trips to Argentina to see his mistress.
Glenn Beck – Beck is becoming a huge hit through his TV and radio shows also through his New York Times best selling books which detailed his struggles with alcoholism.
Kate Gosselin – Probably one of the most recognizable names in Reality TV. Became famous from her show John and Kate plus eight on TLC, but remained in the spotlight as the couple went through a messy divorce in front of millions of people watching.
