How do you connect a DVD Player to a television that has no cable connection?
I have a television that is not connected to a cable system. Can I connect a DVD player to this television set?
Can you hook up the dvd player to the cable system and tv to the cable? If not,your tv should have some kind of connection to hook up a dvd player to it. If not,check radio shack or something for an adapter.

M2TS files are used primarily with Sony hardware. Camcorders make use of M2TS in the form of AVCHD, a recording format made specifically for camcorders. Some camcorder models from Canon and Panasonic also use M2TS files. These files are also present on Blu-ray disc compilations, therefore they are capable of storing quite a large amount of information and data tracks. You may have considered burning M2TS to DVD which is compatible with your regular home DVD player. This article assumes you do not have Blu-ray player and will show you how to burn Sony M2TS to DVD with the best M2TS to DVD burner.
Step 1. Transfer Sony M2TS to computer
To burn Sony M2TS files to DVD,the first thing you need to do is to upload your Sony M2TS video files to your computer from your camcorder. Connect your camcorder to your computer with the cable. Locate Sony M2TS files, copy and paste them to your local disk.
Step 2. Download and install Wondershare Video to DVD Burner Once the Sony M2TS videos were transferred to your computer, all you need is a DVD burner software title that supports M2TS video files. Download and install Wondershare Video to DVD Burner.
Step 3. Load videos. Launch Wondershare Video to DVD Burner that was just installed. Click the option that reads "Load Video". Locate the Sony M2TS files you just pasted. Once successfully imported, there will be thumbnails displayed on the left interface. The right interface allows you to view the loaded video file. Drag and drop loaded video files to storyboard below to organize slideshow.
Step 4. Edit Sony M2TS videos. The plug-in video editor lets you edit your Sony M2TS videos quickly and easily. Select a video file in storyboard and click on Edit selected video file button to crop, trim, add watermark, plug in subtitles or adjust video effects, according to your specific request within minutes.For a better visual effect, you may want to set some transition effects to your slideshow. Simply click on Transition tab and there will be more than 60 transition effects displayed on the left interface. The right window will display the visual transition effect by randomly clicking any one of these effects. Simply drag and drop the selected transition effect to the between of two videos in the storyboard to apply it. Or click on Apply the selected transition button to apply.
Step 5. Convert Sony M2TS to DVD
Here comes the burning step. Click on Burn button to burn/convert M2TS to DVD. Before that, you may select your output options: DVD disc is your choice. Also, please set the aspect ratio, etc.
Once everything is ready, you may burn M2TS to DVD. Soon you will be able to enjoy your Sony M2TS videos on regular home DVD player with your friends and family.
