Karaoke Songs Is it legal to use downloaded mp3 karaoke songs for profit at an event?
I know the fair use laws and i am almost positive that downloading a karaoke mp3 and using it for profit at an event is illegal. What do you think and can you give me some feedback. There is a local company that has their entire library on a computer and then downloads on site if they don't have a requested song for someone. Is this legal?
If they are downloading the song for profit, it is most definitely illegal.
