Myspace Karaoke Contests are plain unfair?
The myspace karaoke contests that are held monthly are just plain and simple unfair. I seen in the previous contest of winners who are horrible singers and then they picked the winners who can actually sing decent... I dont know if when the people who pick the winners for the contests are just looking for good looking people who cant sing or if they are actually trying to pick the people who have a talented voice. I have seen many entries that won that do not follow the rules of the contests but still win. I have seen entries recieve over 3000 views but yet have only 100 people who left feedback on their songs. In my opinion myspace karaoke needs to find better people who pick the winners for these contests. Because most of the winners they pick just cannot sing.
Karaoke should not be made into a contest. Karaoke was made for fun. Plain and simple. Not a contest. When a contest is involved then competition takes over people (who are normally nice people) become competitive and that can bring out the worst of people. If you keep karaoke in "just for the fun of it" category and away from contests. That's the way it should always be.
