Pioneer Stereo How do I stop my Pioneer stereo from resetting??
I have a Pioneer DEH-P6400R stereo in my car (mark 4 Golf 1.8T 98) and every time I turn the ignition off and take out the key it resets the stereo, so all of the personal settings that I have stored completely reset. How do I stop this from happening???????
Red and yellow wires are incorrectly set up, pull out your headunit and you will see three wires close together (Black, red and yellow) Make sure they're all connected to the right colours and are in correctly, It should fix the problem. If not try it in another vehicle and if there's no luck.. It might need repairing.
