Black Bookshelf What brand of paint is best for repainting a plastic covered bookshelf?
The bookshelf is from Ikea and it's a hideous pink. i want to repaint it black and I heard that the plastic paint called Krylon works well, but does it go on evenly and is it easy to use? (i kinda suck with this kind of stuff) i asked a home depot paint guy if there's a good brand but he said that i just need a primer and all the wall paints they have work fine. I can't tell if he's telling the truth...?
He is. Prime first, then paint with 2 coats of an acrylic latex enamel and you will be good to go. Hope this helps.
