ARMY: fiance is being stationed at fort polk on june 15...4th brigade 10th mountain division---deploying?
Somebody that lives on post told me that she thinks his unit is deploying the day he gets there, june 15.
He is coming there from South Korea, which is, in a way, considered a deployment.
What do you think his chances are of him being sent later on to his unit? Will they possibly keep him there since he has been in korea already?
Any experience with this?
What do you think will happen?
Since hes coming from a hardship tour he has 90 days stateside guaranteed, if he doesn't decide to waive them. Korea isn't a deployment its a hardship tour. Hell be on rear detachment when he's done with all the deployment classes and done with the 90 days hell hop on the next flight over to the box.
