How do I connect this 13W7 sub at home?

I don't care if this is a car sub. This sub is a monster and I think this shit pounds better than any other home audio subs and will work well if I box it right. If I add a external amp connected to the pre-outs on the back of my Yamaha receiver, how do I connect the sub? Do I need a subwoofer amp that does 4 ohms?
You would need a proper enclosure, and a tremendous amount of power, by the time you invest in amplifiers to power this sub you would be better off buying this one http://home.jlaudio.com/products_subs.php?prod_id=371 JL Audio has already done all the leg work for you and actually have designed their home sub to outperform the 13W7. The 13W7 has 2" of peak to peak travel the fanthom sub has up to 4" of travel for explosions and so forth. Plus the built in amp is pushing 2500watts rms. It would sound pretty awesome.
