Powered Sub
No power coming from my powered sub.?
Ok I'm getting frustrated with my powered sub. I recently bought it and just hooked up the wires to see if it works, and it did.. But at the time i was only holding the ground and battery wire to the sub.. Only now when i actually connected the wires properly and their snug tight, theirs now red light turning on my powered sub. The only other problem, was that the fuse connected in the power wire that was stock blew, so i changed it. Still now when i try changing the RCA cables and the REM wire, i have no success. Help would be appreciated a lot... BTW the powered sub is a Visionik if it makes a difference.
usually when the red light comes on it means the amp is in protection mode. The light should be green. Sumptn happened bro. If you blew a fuse you connected something wrong. No fix for it. Exchange or repair

Adamo (Latin for "I fall in love with" is a Dell subnotebook focused on design and mobility. It is claimed to be the "world's thinnest laptop". It is a slim luxury ultraportable intended to compete with Apple's MacBook Air or HP's Voodoo Envy 133 laptop.
The Adamo is powered with 1.2 GHz (or 1.4 GHz) Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB 800Mhz of DDR3 memory (or 4 GB), a 128GB SSD, and a 1366*768 screen, weighs 4 pounds, and has a price of $1999.99. It's possibly the most beautiful computer Dell has ever manufactured.
Design
The view from above starts with a high-gloss, hard plastic at the front, moves into a matte strip in the center with embossed "Dell" and "Adamo" logos, which in turns leads into a smooth, brushed metal slab, and finally ends up at the back with yet another strip of dotted metal. Around the back end "overhang," the air vents are stylishly presented as a kind of gradient pixel pattern. The keyboard is a smooth, chiclet style affair, with slightly curved keys, and a bold, futuristic font.
The Adamo is a real champ in the size department. The laptop is thin... really thin. Compared to the MacBook Air (0.76-inches at its thickest point) and X301 (0.9-inches), the 0.65-inch Adamo is anorexic.
The guts
The outside is handsome, but the insides are downright ugly. In its attempt to focus on looks, Dell seems to have completely disregarded performance, loading up the base Adamo with a Core 2 Duo ULV chip chugging along at a paltry 1.2GHz, 2GB of RAM, as well as a 128GB SSD drive and Intel's integrated X4500 GPU. Using Microsoft's own Windows Experience tool, the Adamo ranked a lowly 3.2 almost at the lowest end of the scale for using basic Aero effects.
Display
The display size is of 13.4" with 16:9 HD Display and Edge-Egde Glass integrated with a 1.3 Megapixel Camera. The Screen display is of just 0.65 Inches making it a very sleep screen with powerful features and super display functions. The external body is tough with Machined Aluminium chassis with elegant detail. The external & internal ports include Wireless N, Bluetooth & One RJ-45 Port. The laptop is powered with the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor with Centrino Technology & DDR3 Memory for outstanding performance.
Battery life
Adamo has a "5+ hour battery life," achieved through a non-removable lithium polymer battery but when tested with power saving (lower performance), medium screen brightness, Wi-Fi on and Bluetooth off, the Total Run Time: 2 hours, 40 minutes.
Performance
$2600 Adamo, featuring a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor (3MB L2 cache), 4GB RAM (800MHz), 128GB SSD and integrated 3G. $2000 only buys you a 1.2GHz processor and 2GB of RAM, but you still get the 128GB SSD.
The inclusion of Intel's GMA X4500HD GPU is considered as the biggest problem with this laptop. Nvidia's GeForce 9400M (as in MacBooks etc) would have made a better fit.
Wrap up
It seems like the Macbook Air has got a serious competitor now when someone looks to buy a thin laptop for portability.
But Adamo is really expensive, if price/performance is considered. The Adamo is a bit of a strange beast. It's not as feathery as the Lenovo X301 or the MacBook Air, and even with that extra pound of heft, it's (overall) not as powerful as the MacBook Air—a computer that's incidentally cheaper than the Adamo in its base configuration.
