Is there a LAN with an outdoor 750m range?
I need to wirelessly connect my PC to a network 500 meters (line of sight) away, in another building. Is it possible to do this? If so, what kind of "transmitter/router" (I don't know the terminology) do I need, and roughly how much will it cost? Thanks
It's not practical to try to expand your LAN that far, but there's a solution as long as both buildings have Internet connections; get a VPN to establish a virtual LAN.
