Are the funding agencies really serious or there is also a corruption?
I don't know exactly what happens but sharing my own experiences, I can say that almost all funding agencies are just manipulating the money or just waisting the money in the name of certain cause. Since I know funding agencies who poured lot of money for the cause of Ganga depollution or community impacted by the industrial pollution. Lots has been shown, written and highlighted but the ground reality is that, nothing positive could be acheived. One thing is true, the receivers of those funds have made their own lifestyles much better.
What are your comments?
The funding agencies are serious. They put thedir money where their priorities are. It is the implementation that can go haywire. There is a strong possibility that corrupt individuals or groups can 'hijack' the funds and miuse them I believe there is a lot of that in Indian NGOs.
