Satellite Speaker I have a Logitech Z-5500 5.1 speaker system and was wondering if i replace the 2 front satellite speakers.?
I want to buy 2 new bose satellite speakers and hook them up. will I be able to do this? Also someone told me that I cant get a certain ohm speaker? please help
It will probably work, but it won't sound much better. It will probably sound worse since the center and front speakers will be mismatched.
Much of what you pay for when you buy Bose goes to marketing, not materials or engineering. That's why Bose doesn't publish specifications (like watts per channel) for their equipment--people would see they could get better equipment for less money.
Save your money for a better system instead of trying to tweak the Z-5500.
