Sound Home
How to transfer sound from home theater to telivision?
I have a Sanyo 50 inch plasma screen tv and i have a
Samsung HT-Z320 home theater. whenever i play dvds the sound comes from the speakers but when i turn on the tv no sound comes from the speakers. i want to be able to transfer the tv sound into the speakers is there anyway to do this oh and by the way i have a HD comcast box if that helps
to watch tv w/home theater you will probably have to run audio cables (red and white) from the tv to the input on the home theater(prob called auxiliary) and then you will have to set the home theater to receive that input

In every 15 seconds, a home is burglarized. In this age of rising crime, it is wise to have a home monitoring system to enhance your home's security. Home monitoring systems are of many varieties (wired and wireless) and prices, ranging from a single device to a set of devices. You can even set up your own home monitoring system by assembling gadgets, according to their feature and price, which you think required for the security of your home. You can either monitor your own alarms or hire a home monitoring service to do it for you.
First and foremost, you need to get a home monitoring system installed. Different home monitoring systems have different gadgets as their components. Most of them contain door and window alarms. These sensors are programmed to detect suspicious movements and sound an alarm. Driveway alarms are installed in the driveway and provide the advantage of sounding an alarm before the burglar has broken into the house rather than after as is the case of motion detectors. The disadvantage here is that the burglar may not enter via the driveway.
Motion detectors are also put to use in designing a home security system. Apart from sending alerts on sensing movement, they can be used to provide lighting or announce warning to deter the burglar. Glass break detectors are also useful components of a home security system. Another clever way to deter burglars is to use signs and decals on your doors, windows. and maybe in your driveway to tell the burglars of an installed home security system. It is unlikely that a burglar will be brave enough to break into a home which has a foolproof home security system in place.
Having a home monitoring system helps you not only to deter burglars but also avoid encounters with the criminals. Such confrontations can be hazardous. By knowing when someone has broken into your home, you can ensure neither you nor your family members come in the way of these criminals. Home monitoring systems also have panic buttons so that in case of emergencies like someone trapped inside your house can seek help. Apart from burglaries, your possessions may be endangered by a fire or water leakage. Smoke-detectors and carbon-monoxide detectors can send alarm signals to you and the fire brigade when a threshold limit is crossed and danger is sensed. Similarly, flood or water detectors can detect if there is a water-excess inside your house.
Home monitoring systems are becoming a way of life with crime rates rising everywhere. But is it feasible for you to always monitor your security system alarms? If an alarm is sounded due to fire at home and you are attending a meeting, you may not come to know about it till it is too late. Or if you are on a holiday, you would certainly not like to spend most of your time checking to see if any alarm has gone off. This is why a home monitoring service is recommended. These agencies keep a constant vigil on your behalf. They monitor your alarms 24/7 to ensure that rapid action is taken even if you haven't got the alert. They not only inform you but also inform the appropriate authorities like the police or hospital to make sure your family members are safe even when you are away.
