Player Recorder How to set up a dvd player, dvd recorder and tv?
The TV is a 36 inch Toshiba flat panel with all the inputs and outputs on the back, the DVD Recorder is a cheaper no name brand (SV2000) and the DVD player is a Sony High Def type (DVP-NS700H). Please let me know if you need any other information. Thanks for any help you can provide.
You have several choices. The easiest choice is to simply use the various inputs on your TV. The trick is that most TVs are not labeled in any way that makes sense. Most likely video1, video2, etc. Another issue could be having the right kind of inputs on your TV to match with the outputs on your various other equipment.
A better way to do it is to use a Home Theater receiver and hook everything to it and then out to the TV.
A third way, but not recommended, would be to use a HTIB but you would have similar limitations in type and kind of inputs and outputs as you do with the TV alone.
