Outdoor Speaker speco outdoor speaker screw type with numbers?
on the bottom of my speco outdoor speakers is a screw type knob with db written on it with numbers on each side (-1, -2, other side +1, +2) what does this screw type knob mean? it has a slot to use with screwdriver to turn. thanks
db is a measure of loudness
0 will be default setting - +1, +2 means increase in loudness by 1 or 2 decibles(db)
-1, -2 means you can decrease the loudness by 1 or 2 db
that is an option for you to set the loudness of your "tweeter" according to your taste .
if you want tweeter to be bright(loud) set it to +1 or2 db
if you want tweeter to be laid back(soft) set it to -1 or 2 db
