Portable Usb I connected my portable usb storage to my laptop, and nothing happens. What can I do to solve this?
I checked under the universal serials bus controllers and didn't see a yellow exclamation mark next to any of them,
Two things...easiest one first.
1) It is not auto-booting for some reason, but it is detecting it. Click on "start" then "my computer". Locate your "removeable storage" drive...that should be it. Double click on it and it will open.
2) Your USB drivers are not installed at all or correctly. You will need to get the correct drivers from the laptop manufacturers website. You will need to use the "support" section of the website and browse by your computer model.
